Their debut single "Durch den Monsun" (Through the monsoon) became #1 of the German Single Charts in August 2005, which made them the youngest band reaching the top of the charts ever. The band members are Bill Kaulitz (vocals), his twin brother Tom Kaulitz (guitar), Georg Listing (bass) and Gustav Schäfer (drums). Won the prize for "Best Newcomer national" at the 2006 Echo Awards. Accompaning the band's rise exclusively since its beginnings, the circulation of German teenage magazine "Bravo" has rose by 22%. After first appearing as "Devilish" in 2001, the band signed a record deal with Universal Music Domestic Division and changed its name to Tokio Hotel (2003).
