Sia Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, born December 18, 1975, also simply known as Sia, is an Australian pop singer. She is noted for her work with Zero 7 and her two major label solo albums. Sia relocated to the U.K. in the late 1990s and started work on her debut, HEALING IS DIFFICULT. Combining elements of folk, pop, and electronica, the album brought her to the attention of Zero 7--she contributed several tracks to the album SIMPLE THINGS--as well as Massive Attack, Beck, and William Orbit. The use of her track "Breathe Me" in the TV series SIX FEET UNDER heightened her profile even further. The extra exposure helped to push her second album, COLOUR THE SMALL ONE, into the top 10 of the U.K. album charts.
